SibShops

Do you have a brother or sister with a disability?

Brothers and sisters have the longest lasting relationship in a family.  Together they share joys and concerns and ups and downs throughout their lifetimes.  But when someone has a brother or sister with a disability, the dynamics can change or be different than other brother/sister relationships.  Often siblings do not have the peer support that is available to their parents.   Sibshops created by Don Meyer, Director of the Siblings Support Project in Seattle, Washington, and sponsored by the disAbility Resource Center (dRC), provide siblings with peer support through an interactive day of games and activities.

For example, cheap jordans was launched in 1993 to life shortly after the announcement of the jordan retro shoes retirement.Nike known as the nike free run 2 largest shoe. It has attracted many imitators.

Two Sibshops are offered for siblings in May at the dRC:

May 10th, 6:30pm-8:30pm
